We didn’t make the cut, but this is what we’re made of
High quality upholstery leather is specifically created to be beautiful and extremely durable to withstand everyday use. Luxury leather furniture manufacturers only use the best sections from the best hides when creating their custom pieces, leaving out any imperfections. There's nothing wrong with these leftover trims, they just didn't make the final cut.
Instead of having this wonderful material go to waste, each handcrafted leather piece created is perfectly imperfect.
Made in Toronto, Canada from upholstery leather remnants, we may come with scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, splotches – even bite marks. And that’s OK, it gives us our charm!
We celebrate these so called flaws and embrace them, making each handcrafted item unique with character.
We could have been a chair, but we'd rather be in your pocket
Our leather materials are locally sourced from custom luxury leather furniture manufacturers and are magically transformed into functional items to fit your lifestyle.
Sizing, colour and material availability constraints of using leftover trims allow us to create limited collections and one of a kind pieces without having wonderfully made leather end up in a landfill.
That’s why they are created in small batches, so no two are really alike.

Hi! I’m a designer and maker on a journey to create minimal and functional small leather goods to be enjoyed for any lifestyle.
Upholstery leather is not typically used in creating leather goods such as wallets, card holders etc., but I took on the challenge of taking remnant material originally created from one industry and bringing it back as something new - while reducing manufacturing waste.
Each handcrafted item is slow made, taking the time and care needed while using these durable, high quality upholstery leather remnants. All items are cut, punched, glued, hand-stitched and finished by me in my little workshop in Toronto, Canada.
Hope you'll enjoy your upcycled, handcrafted leather item for many years to come!
